Manchester United - End Of Season Review 2007/2008

Not since ‘99 have Manchester United fans witnessed a season like this one. Entertaining as no other team can, the Reds produced some stunning, sublime football, scoring goals for fun to secure their 17th League title on a tension-filled final day at Wigan, before travelling to Moscow for a night of the highest drama imaginable to complete an incredible double. In a nail-biting, hearts in mouths finale, with United just one penalty kick away from defeat, their prayers were answered. A slip and a Van der Sar save was all that was needed for Fergie’s brave warriors to take advantage and capture the European Cup for a third time and fittingly, almost as destiny decreed, 50 years on from when the English pioneers of European football suffered the terrible tragedy of Munich. Relive the glory of a truly momentous season, savour all of Ronaldo’s incredible 42 goals and hear exclusive insight from Sir Alex, Giggsy, Rio, Rooney and Carlos Tevez amongst others. Make it a double--Champions of England and Champions of Europe. Extra Features -Ronaldo’s Goals -Tribute to Ole

The Double Champions - What a great DVD to have, unfortunately it wasn t the greatest that I have seen. The Treble DVD was miles better, though it is still fun to look at Chelsea coming second in everything.

Drama, Excitement, Thrills...and that s just the extras! - Pure joy! As a Manchester Unied supporter of five years, I am delighted to say that this has been the most memorable season that I have experienced in my short life span. I ll admit, Ronaldo was something else, his goals, his pace, his pure genius, I ll even go as far as saying we wouldn t have won the league without him, but this Digital Versatile Disc, shows what a team effort it really was, as United stumbled passed the coveted Premier League finish mark, with a 0-2 victory at the JJB. Louis Saha showed early promise, and Park excelled as the season mapped out, and this DVD captures all the heart-ache (of which there was little!) and all the glory as Manchester United became the Double Champions .

waste of money - Really poor picture quality. And complete lack of any worthwhile extras. This is really below par. Don t buy this unless you want to be disappointed.

Watch and Enjoy - Manchester United - End Of Season Review 2007/2008Having watched the full DVD i can say that it is without doubt a great addition to any collection, with all the matches covered in what was a truly amazing roller coaster ride of a season. When watching J.Terry take his penalty i am still on tender hooks in case this time he scores ! ( and i was lucky to be in Moscow). The DVD quality is excellent on my copy so the reviewer who had a grainy copy must have been unlucky. If you are a united fan you will enjoy this over and over again, SAF once again confining his critics to the also ran section of media life.

Great! - This is a must have for all United fans. Just enjoying watching those great moments (too many to list) over and over again. Go and grab one now!
